My account

I already have an account, why do I need to create a PIN?

We've made some improvements to our sign-in process to offer you a better candidate experience. Creating a PIN allows you to access new features in Amazon jobs. Please make sure you check your spam folder.
I forgot my PIN, how do I get a new one?
Chevron Down
Don’t worry, we can help you create a new one quickly. Please follow the steps below:

- Go to the log-in screen (Jobsatamazon.co.uk/login),

- Enter the email address or phone number that you used to create your account and click “Next”

- Select "Forgot Your Personal Pin?"

- Enter the email address that you used to create your account

- We’ll send a verification code to the email address you entered, please check your inbox to retrieve it (if you didn’t receive it, make sure you check your spam folder)

- Enter this code into the verification code box in your browser.

- Enter a new PIN and click "Update".

You're done. You can go back to the log-in screen and log in to your account using your email address and new PIN.
I have multiple accounts. Can I merge them?

I don't have an email address. Can I create an account using my phone number?

You can use your Amazon jobs account to access your profile and check the information and status of all your applications.

My application

What is my application status?

You can check the status of your application by following these steps.
  1. Login to your candidate account
  2. Click on the menu icon in the top left hand corner
  3. Click on 'My Jobs' from the dropdown menu
  4. You will see your appointment details under each job
My application status hasn't changed. Who can I contact for an update?

Your dashboard is regularly being updated to display the most recent status of each application. When an application status changes, your dashboard is updated in almost real-time to reflect this new status. If it hasn’t changed, we’re still processing your application. For further questions, please contact us.
What does it mean when my application status is withdrawn?

An application has an active status when it is pending a decision. The status can change to withdrawn for a number of reasons: if you have requested your application do be withdrawn, if you have been hired for a role at Amazon, or if you are no longer under consideration.

Who will I be employed by if my application is successful?

Depending on the job you applied for, you will be employed by Amazon directly or a hiring agency.
When can I start working once I have applied?

Most of our jobs have immediate starts. You also have the possibility to select from a range of available start dates.
What happens after I submit my application?

You will receive a response within 24-36 hours. Communications will be sent over email with links and instructions to the next step of the process.
Do I need to submit a CV with my application?

No. Amazon UK no longer asks for CVs during the application process for these roles.

My work permit

What ‘Right to Work’ documents do I need to attach to my application?

1. For UK citizens:

  1. UK Passport, OR
  2. Birth/adoption/naturalisation certificate AND proof of National Insurance (this can be any official document or letter that states your name and your National Insurance Number.
2. For Irish citizens:
Chevron Down
  1. Irish passport; OR
  2. Irish identity card; OR
  3. Birth/adoption/naturalisation certificate AND proof of National Insurance (this can be any official document or letter that states your name and your National Insurance Number.
3. For all other citizenships:

  1. Online right to work share code AND date of birth; OR
  2. Unexpired passport AND visa vignette/right of abode; OR
  3. A current Immigration Status Document AND proof of National Insurance;
  4. Official letter from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) stating that you have applied for a residence permit. This letter must show the case number.
4. For student visa holders:

  1. Online right to work share code AND Date of birth; OR
  2. Official letter from your university/education institution confirming your academic term and holiday/half-term dates covering the entire duration of your employment.

How do I upload documents and photos in my Candidate Account?

Before your Amazon New Hire event/Pre-Hire, you will be asked to:

1. Do your right to work check. Follow below steps to check your Right to work documents:

    1.1. To align with Amazon policy and UK legal requirements, we kindly ask you to provide us with work authorization documentation that confirms your authorisation to work in the UK. Click here to see a list of acceptable right to work check documents.
    1.2. You will receive an e-mail from Deloitte (amazon-rtw@deloitte.co.uk) with a link and instructions to their GoVerify ID Validation Technology (IDVT) system to provide a Live Photo of your original and hard copy Right to Work documentation.
    1.3. Once you provide your Right to Work documentation in the IDVT tool, it will generate a result and take you to next steps to complete your Right to Work check.
    1.4. When your Right to Work check is complete, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from the Work Authorization team. The work authorization check must be completed prior to start date. If this check is not completed, your start date will be cancelled.
    1.5. NOTE: The link to the IDVT tool can only be accessed via a Camera Enabled Smart Phone or Tablet. If you do not have a Camera Enabled Smart Phone or Tablet, send an e-mail to uk-right-to-work-check@amazon.com for assistance with completing your Right to Work check. 2. Upload a passport-style photo of yourself for your badge.

    Please follow the steps below to upload the photo in your account:
    2.1. Log in to your account through this link, Jobsatamazon.co.uk/app#/login.
    2.2. Navigate to the Menu icon in the top right hand corner
    2.3. Click on “My Jobs”
    2.4. Select “Prepare for your Appointment” on your chosen application
    2.5. Click on "Start" next to “Take your badge photo”
    2.6. Add a badge photo via camera or uploading images
    2.7. Click on “Start uploading”
    2.8. Upload your chosen photo and click “Submit”
    2.9. Please check if the badge photo was successfully submitted

My appointment

How do I reschedule my Amazon New Hire Event?

To reschedule your appointments, please proceed as follows:
    1. Log in to your candidate account at Jobsatamazon.co.uk/app#/login
    2. Click the menu icon in the top left hand corner
    3. Select ‘My Jobs’
    4. You can click ‘Edit’ next to your chosen pre-hire appointment
    5. Reschedule your appointment to another time
    6. Click ‘Cancel Appointment’
I cannot attend my Onboarding/Day 0, what should I do?

I had a start date appointment in the past, but could not attend and need to reschedule.

Your start date is your day 0 date after you’ve already attended your new hire appointment. In order to reschedule your start date appointment, please contact us.

My job offer

What is the pay rate at Amazon?

When will I sign my contract?

If your application is successful, we will send you a formal offer letter and your contract of employment, which you will be able to review and sign electronically. This offer and your employment are subject to a number of conditions, including successful background checks and evidence of your right to work in the UK.
